How It Works
Creating your personalised paw print, nose print or handwriting keepsake is really simple. You don’t need to send me the original — a clear photograph or scan is usually all I need.
*1. Choose your keepsake*
Select the design you would like and add any personalisation, such as a name, date or wording.
*2. Upload your image*
Upload a clear photograph or scan of the paw print, nose print or handwriting you would like me to use when placing your order.
For the best result:
* Take the photo in *good natural light*
* Photograph it *straight on*, rather than at an angle
* Make sure the whole print or handwriting is *in focus*
* Avoid shadows or glare where possible
* Please upload the *highest-quality/original photo* you have rather than a screenshot
* For handwriting, photos of cards, letters and notes are absolutely fine
* For paw and nose prints, ink or paint prints work best, but please send what you have and I can assess it

*3. I prepare your print*
I carefully remove the background and prepare the handwriting or print ready for laser engraving, while keeping the little details and characteristics that make the original so special.
*4. Your keepsake is created*
Your design is then laser engraved/cut and made into your chosen keepsake.
Don’t worry if your image isn’t perfect Older handwriting, faded ink and slightly imperfect prints can often still be used.
Please *don’t edit, trace or enhance the image yourself* — sending me the original photo gives me the best chance of getting a lovely result. If I feel the image you have uploaded isn’t suitable, I will contact you before making your order. 
*Please note:*
The finished engraving can only reproduce the detail visible in the photograph or scan provided, so a clearer original image will usually give the best result.
