How do I select clothing for a keepsake?
Choose items of clothing that hold special memories or significance. Do you have any pictures of them in this special items? Did they use to wear a particular one more than others? If you need them I’ll guide you through selecting items that work best for your memorial items if you’d like to email me.
How many items of clothing do I need?
This can vary depending on what size the item of clothing is. For adults I recommend at least one Mens Large item of clothing to create the bears/Animals. If you’re wanting a patchwork bear/animal I recommend 1-3 items one being plain so your embroidery is visible but this is not a necessity as I can use a bold colour.
For children’s items memory/keepsake I recommend 8-10 items of using items from their first year for example newborn to 12months. Older children you can send less such as 5-6 items.
Please contact me if you’d like you’d like to discuss this more. More information should be available on each listing you’re interested in.
How long does it take to create a keepsake?
Each piece takes time and care to perfect. Generally, between 8-12 weeks. When booking your slot you’ll see on the website when you will RECEIVE your items. This will be at the end of that month. But I need your clothing at the start of your slot.
For example if you’re booking to receive your items for February 2025, I will need your items in to me at the start of Dec.
This will be confirmed in your confirmation email after purchase.

Treat your keepsake with gentle care. We recommend spot cleaning for most items such as bears and animals. For cushions, blankets and quilts I recommend on a cold gentle wash.
Can I personalize my keepsake?
Absolutely. Personalisation is at the heart of what I do. We can include names, dates, or special messages on your keepsake. Please look at the sections on the items you want to purchase for what can fit on your specific keepsake.
What if I don’t have enough clothing for it?
We can work with what you have to create something beautiful. There are creative solutions for every situation. Please email or get in touch via social media and I can discuss this further with you on how we can make it work.
What happens with any clothing that is left?
There is an option on each listing where you can select if you’d like the remaining clothing back or not.
For bridal dresses if you do not want your left overs back I donate them to a charity for baby’s born sleeping or who have sadly passed away.
